So many great resources shared here! I found Substack to be such a great place for growth, networking and community building and managed to grow my newsletter from zero to (almost) 1k subscribers in 6 months with all subscribers apart from around 20 coming from the Substack network.
It's been very difficult the get found on the investing side of substack. We've been very consistent for over 2 months, posting high quality content and still haven't seen much growth. What are we doing wrong?
Hi Linda, Literally asking for a Substack friend - who has just moved her 3000+ email list from another platform. Approx 300 or so of her list did NOT transfer over. Any suggestions as how she might try and retrieve them, or links to help? ChatBot is not responding today (or for last few weeks to me, actually). Any recommendations will be appreciated! Thanks!
Thank you for sharing this, Linda. I am an Italian fiction writer and am just starting out with a serialized novel on my brand new Substack. It looks like it's still a niche audience in Italy — I see lots of super interesting content about news and culture but very few Substacks offering fiction in Italian — but I will try to make the best out of this great advice!
Sorry, I have no idea where else to post a feature request/ bug report. Would it be possible for mid-article paywalls to not disable footnotes from the non-paid sections of articles? Thank you.
Is the explore section being worked on? So far it's hard to find other comedy writers

The comedy writers are being taken to black sites and dealt with until they become Substack marketing writers.
I had a hard time finding fiction writers, too, and even now that I have found quite a few, I wish I could search by genre.

Sadly the scammers are beginning to join Substack to catch the unwary. Probably the same ones who lurk on Skype.
